My Signature Process

Every wedding and portrait journey is unique—but the way I care for you stays consistent: calm, thorough, and rooted in trust. Here’s how we’ll move together, from first hello to the images you’ll treasure for generations.

  1. Say hello

It begins with a simple inquiry. Share your date (or your dream season), your vision, and what matters most to you. I read every message myself and I’ll respond personally so we can see if we’re the right fit.

  2. Connect

We’ll talk—by phone, text, video, or in person when it makes sense. I want to hear your story: how you met, what you love about each other, the people who will be there, and the feeling you want when you look back at your images. No pressure, no hard sell—just honest conversation.

  3. Reserve your place

When you’re ready, a signed agreement and retainer secure your wedding date or portrait session on my calendar. From that moment forward, you have a dedicated artist in your corner, not a vendor checking a box.

  4. Plan with intention

For weddings, we’ll align on timeline, family formals, and the moments you don’t want missed—always with room for the unplanned magic. For portraits, we’ll choose light, location, and pacing so you can breathe and be present. My job is to remove guesswork so you can stay in the moment.

  5. The day itself

On your wedding day or during your session, I work quietly and deliberately—blending fine art composition with honest documentation. I won’t manufacture emotion or pull you away from what matters. I’m there to honor your story as it actually unfolds.

  6. Your heirloom gallery

You’ll receive a curated gallery of images edited in my signature style—timeless, true to color and feeling, and ready to print, share, and pass down. I’m happy to guide you toward albums and wall art that turn pixels into legacy. It’s my hope that your photos will live on decorating your walls, staying warmly in your hearts, and not just on your phone.
